Ingredients:1 cup of whole wheat; 1 can solid tuna fish in water; 1 cup of gratted carrot; 1 apple with skin, diced; 1 tomato, diced; lettuce for decoration; salt; extra virgin olive oil; parsley and spring onion, chopped; Description:Baking wheat: Use a pressure cooker to cook the grains. You can speed up the process initiating the cooking in the eve. It´s easy: wash and drain the wheat, place it in the cooker, cover with water and place over high heat. When the cooker start to gurgle then lower the heat to low and keep cooking for 10 minutes. Turn off the fire but do not take off the lid of the pan. Do it only in the following morning and then, if it still with a little of water. Drain and if you want the grains more soft, cook a few minutes pressureless. Remove from heat and set aside. Decorate a tray with a bed of lettuce. Drain the tuna, place in a bowl and combine with the gratted carrot, the tomato, and the wheat. Salt, add the parsley and the spring onion, place on the bed of lettuce and pour drops of olive oil. Guarnish with pieces of apple and serve. Bonan apetiton! ![]() |
