Ingredients:2 cups long grain brown rice; 4 cups water (can be cold); 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil; 4 cloves garlic, crushed with fresh hot pepper; 1 tbsp onion, finely diced; some slices bamboo-buds; leaf stalks of collard greens, diced; lemon; salt. Description:Soak the rice in boing water about a half hour. Let drain and place in a medium-pan over high heat. Stir the rice until is completely dried, but no golden. Pour the olive oil while the pan is hot, add garlic, onion, salt, mix well, and add the water. When it is boiling, reduce the heat to medium-low and let cooking until is done. Steam the collard leaf stalks, salt, squeeze lemon. If you want, you can sauce it. Heat a small pan, pour some drops of oil, add the bamboo-buds, add a litlle garlic, and salt. Place the rice on a serving plate, arrange the stalks and the bamboo-buds how you want, and serve. ![]() |
